A few days ago we shared information on a website, a creepy scary website out there to post your personal information. For me I did it and it posted where I've lived for the last 20 years, addresses where I currently live, I know this information is out there in the public. If you want to do a search and work hard enough at it you can find it, but this website family tree now calm the creepy thing about it, it makes it easy. Because it puts it all on one website and it's free on top of that, but there's a way you can opt out, and we've been receiving complaints from people saying it's too hard to fall on. So we're doing a how-to post on how to opt out, hopefully, make it easy.
I'll show you how creepy it is, because Nicole is been sitting here, stocking Calvin is here, the last two days peering in his window house, believe it or not, it's reasserting. Right now we're going to show you how easy it is to stock somebody. Nicole, it's research, Alvin Harris, his real name is Adam Wild, if you type in at Google, it is in Wikipedia, so you can find and I happen to know that he was born in nineteen eighty-four. You find that record and even hit view details, now you can see a whole list of possible associates, usually family members, parents, brothers, sisters, current and past addresses.
So this top one I know from looking, already that is a recording studio or something like that, so that is not a home, but this one that he lived in January's of 2013, you can copy it, go to google and paste it, you can actually do street view on the map here, and pull it up right there, that's his bedroom window right there. That's why this is so creepy right there because that's not his current address but it has people's current address, and why that is so scary now we're going to show you the step. Four steps if you want to opt out to get your personal information off of here how to do that.
You go down very bottom, once you have yours pulled up, and you go to privacy, you click privacy right here, and then after you click privacy, there's a whole list of policies, their privacy policy here. If you scroll down about a quarter of the way down almost for the way down, you see this blue hyperlink I've opted out here, you click that and then it says opt-out records. It asks you basically are you a robot?
You can read those steps there, click that I am NOT a robot, begin opt-out procedures, and then you would get, you put your information in, you get this red button, bar up here this is opt out of this record. And that's the one that for some reason people are having trouble finding, that's the button that you need to click on the final thing, so that we just did that in 20 seconds, once you click on that, it will pop up and tell you that it will remove it from the website within 48 hours to 2 days.
That's it, so once again a super scary website, especially if you have kids when you look it up for your kids names and ages, and we explain this earlier, because you can go find out where they live, the school, district therein, and then you can go, if you're a kidnap, you can just go to a kid and say, I'm here with you for your mom and dad, they couldn't pick you up today, is your name such and such. Why don't you get in, I'll give you a ride to your home at this address. They know all the information that makes it sound legit which is really scary, it was free, you don't pay for it, that's what makes it great.
There you go, there are your steps share this with everybody, so that anybody who is worried about protecting their personal information can at least get it off this website, and search for all the celebrities fingers.
